Funny cuz it’s probably true

There’s a lot of funny stuff here on this Interweb, and I’m sure everybody has more than a few links that they share with others. Could be YouTube videos, could be a random-ass I Can Haz site.

Me? The funniest thing I’m reading online is a little web comic called Multiplex. It follows the lives of a group of young men and women working at a movie theater. They deal with everything from love, relationships, the mundane tasks of their job and in the meantime, dish out opinions on all the latest movies hitting theaters week in and week out. It’s a colorful cast of characters that I really identify with, being a colossal movie nerd and whatnot.

My favorite character is a guy named Kurt, who can usually be found behind the counter and looking at a computer screen, reading up on all the latest Hollywood and movie news. There’s also Jason, who like Kurt is highly opinionated when it comes to cinema but is more outspoken about it. He’s definitely a favorite of mine, too.

The comic is updated twice a week, usually on Mondays and Thursdays and dates back to the summer of 2005, so it’s been a long journey for the kids working at the Multiplex 10 Theater. Check it out for yourself; I swear you’ll be hooked after checking out the first couple of comics.

I wonder if this is what life is like at the Galaxy theater in Saskatoon. I mean, it has to be!
